“Big Boy” units use standard-sized high flow vessels (known in the industry as 20" Big Blue) that are capable of treating up to 15 gallons per minute.

These units are built with full-flow double-sized “big blue” vessels and accept jumbo-sized 4.5" x 20" cartridges and can be purchased as UV lamp only or lamp with sediment and/or carbon block filter.

Big Boy units come with 1.5" ports. These are tough, heavy duty units built to deliver very clean, bacteria-free water.

Available in single, double, and triple formats with UV only (single), UV plus sediment (double), and UV plus sediment and carbon block (triple).

Filter Cartridge Replacement Guide

One of the great advantages of Pura systems is that in every case they use standard-sized filter cartridges. This means that sediment and carbon cartridges can be replaced either with Pura brand cartridges or with the many excellent cartridges that other manufacturers offer in the same sizes.

UVBB Series

UV011	Pura UVBB-1	No cartridge needed. Order Lamp #20 (UV102) from the list above.
UV012	Pura UVBB-2	One cartridge needed: Any good quality 5-micron sediment cartridge. Suggested: 5-micron string wound sediment. More options are available from the 4.5" x 20" section in our cartridge menu.
UV013	Pura UVBB-3	Two cartridges needed. A five micron sediment and a carbon block. Suggested: Pentek 10 micron carbon block and 5-micron string wound sediment. More options are available from the 4.5 X 20 cartridge section.
