The chart below expresses the theoretical performance capacity of our water softening cartridges in four sizes. It assumes the standard 32,000 grain per cubic foot capacity of new cation softening resin.
Softening cartridges can be regenerated, partially but not perfectly, by soaking them in a salt water solution.
