The chart above is not a performance guarantee, but it can be a valuable guide to choosing a system for iron removal. The chart assumes that no hydrogen sulfide is present. "Tank" means a 10" x 54" tank, unless the larger 12" x 52" is specified.
To use the chart, simply find a cross reference point between your pH and your iron level. For example, if your water has a pH of 6.5 and an iron level of 3 parts per million, you would need an Aer Max system followed by one neutralizer tank (a calcite filter) and one birm filter.
